Lately I've been feeling a bit vibrant and colorful. I've been buying pretty dresses and LOTS of bright fabric. I've also been loving my gothy-long grey skirt, but that's another story.

I attribute my obsession with color to these ladies. You should check out their blogs & Flickrs. LOVE!

So, in light of how colorful I feel, a peek at my stash:

A wrap skirt I made (outer fabric is Alexander Henry):

The Evening empire dress (dark & bright!). More about it in a separate post:

And here is a quilt top that I finished a while ago for a class I'm teaching in September at Hip Stitch. Suzanne, the AWESOME owner, pushed me into the patterned sashing and I'm SO glad that I went for it.

In fact, I loved this top so much that I went back & bought more of each of the fabrics, pulled some coordinating ones from my stash, and am now working on 2 more using the Disappearing 9 Patch approach (to help the students see how versatile the method is).

And then there is my current knitting project...

And little zipper pouches that I'm making, also for a class at Hip Stitch.
