Microwave cooking

The boy is out with a friend tonight, so I was left to fend for myself. I spent a few hours at Hip Stitch, then came home and decided to cook.

This recipe has been on my mind for a few days, so armed with time to myself, I decided to try it.

Substitutions:
- home canned raspberry jam FOR treacle
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour, 3/4 tsp baking powder, 1/8 tsp. salt FOR 1/2 cup self-rising flour
- homemade custard for instant - BE CAREFUL! The homemade custard recipe is missing sugar!! Gasp! I added 2 tbsp.

I cooked it for 3 minutes. I would use a larger bowl, larger than 1 qt. since it will boil up when cooking. I placed a plate underneath to catch spillage.

The result:

Delicious!! Enough for 1-4 depending on how in need of dessert you are. Yes, you are cooking with saranwrap in the microwave, but whateva. I avoid so much that a little bit won't kill me every now and then.
