Over-committed

Jeez, lesson learned!!

Is anybody else sick of sewing yet? Due in part to procrastination, and more to over-committing myself, I feel like every single spare minute is spent sewing. And not sewing things I want to make, but sewing things for others. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Grinch, but it seems like that's all I'm doing!

Deep breath!

November was spent sewing for the craft fair, which means making lots of the same thing. Boring!

Then I have my Bees, which I procrastinated (I was waiting for inspiration, I swear!). But I'm actually super excited about my 3x6 Bee Blocks. They were a great scrap buster and I'm really looking forward to using this block style for the Lovely Linen Bee. Tutorial will come when I'm less overwhelmed. :)

For the Fresh & Funky Bee my fabrics didn't arrive until the end of November, so I don't feel so bad about that one. Maria asked for Christmas blocks. I used every single last bit of white, so these 2 little ones were all I could eek out. The presents are a bit meh, but I really like the tree!

And then there are zipper pouches for a friend, and Christmas presents, and the Sunshine Quilt example for a class I'm teaching in January. Sigh...

Excuse me while I go back to hiding in my sewing room.
