I live in the High Desert. What that means is that it's the desert and we're just above a mile high. The sun is killer and if the humidity hits 20% people go crazy.
When I moved out here almost 5 years ago it was a harsh adjustment. I've come to rely on 3 product that I LOVE and use daily to keep me from looking like a reptile. So I'm just putting it out there, just in case you're in need of some moisture too:
Burt and I have been friends for a while now. I keep a stick in my purse and next to my bed. I tried to make my own once and it just wasn't the same.
My complexion actually got BETTER after I started using this lotion.
If you can stand smelling like chocolate, then you will love this lotion. It absorbs quickly and doesn't leave a greasy residew.
There may be other lotions out there (that are probably cheaper too), but these have been working for me so far. I don't think that there are too many bad chemicals in them either. Just thought I'd share.
