Pillows...

I don't use many decorative pillows in my house, primarily because the bed is never made and the couch is always a mess of blankets and remotes. But pillows are so popular and such a doable project. They make great quilting practice or are a quick way to try out a new quilt block or color combo.

Here are a few pillows I've made. I have more of the round ones at home, just no pictures. Still, this is VERY few. :(

Well, as most of you may know, this is pillow month on Sew, Mama, Sew! They did a round up of pillow tutorials yesterday and my Belly Button Pillow was one of them!! I don't think you know how shocked and special I felt when they asked to use it! :)

I have a couple pillow designs that I want to make this month to enter their contest. You should totally make a pillow too...even if your couch is a disaster of blankets. :)

  2. Ha! My house sounds like yours! Just throw in a bunch of kids toys and I pillows really fall to the bottom of the list. But you are right - it is a great way to try out new blocks and color combination's...
