Stash Report - Week 5

A little late in the day, but I have been sewing up a storm today!

In: 10 yards (all from my b-day purchase almost 2 weeks ago. I am a bit peeved about how long shipping took).

sunday stash-1

Out: 5.5 yards
1 yard knitting needle case
Knitting Needle pouch

For my sister (no pictures until she receives them)
3/4 yard nursing cover
1/4 yard burp cloth
1.5 yards nursing pillow (from Lotta Jansdotter Simple Sewing for Baby)
2 yards baby snuggler (from Lotta Jansdotter Simple Sewing for Baby)

I also finished 2 UFOs!

I started the hedgehog quilt in 2009 after Princess Pokeypot passed away. I quilted in July 2010. All that was left was to hand-stich the binding and I JUST finished it. I have no clue what took me so long to get it done. Maybe because she was so awesome compared to the current hedgehog.

This is my new favorite. It makes me soooooo happy! I made it as a sample for the quilt class I taught in September. All it needed was binding too...

2011 In: 125 yards
2011 Busted: - 32.5 yards
Net: 92.5 yards in

  1. Ohmygoodness! 125 yards in? I am envious! And your choices are so great!

I had a pet hedgehog in college, but he would never uncurl in my hands and he never really did much besides hide under furniture. The quilt would be way more cuddly than a hedgehog, i would think?

  2. Hey Ali - Do you have a pattern or tutorial for the needle holding case? Thanks! Sarah

Thanks for dropping by. Is something on your mind?
