You probably don't remember, so let me refresh your memories.
Back in October I was one of the first 3 to comment on Cara's Pay It Forward post. Sometime in the beginning of January a lovely little pouch showed up at my house. It is the EXACT size for my point and shoot camera and travels with me frequently.
So then it was my turn to pay it forward. In late January I posted my own Pay It Forward post and promised to make something for the 1st 3 commenters. It's been 3 months and I've been thinking about it on an off. What to make, what to make??
Keyka Lou was my answer. Her patterns have been popping up all over Flickr, and her sale was just the incentive I needed to bite the bullet! $5. Anyone would buy anything for $5, right Tam? (Sorry, really old inside joke). I went with these 4 (click the image to be linked to the store).
I bought 4 patterns. You know how I feel about patterns? OK, so here it goes. GO NOW AND BUY THESE! They are CLEVER and well written and adorable. Sure, I made modifications, but that's just how I roll. I learned something from them. And to me, that's worth at least $5.
Back to Pay It Forward. I let my husband choose the pattern. He went with the Ditty Bag (far right), I suspect because it looks like a turtle. I picked the fabrics based on what I thought the lovely ladies would like.
For Jeni I went with Anna Maria Horner because that she said that was one of her favorite designers.
And for Kerry I went with Denyse Schmidt because she said that these were her favorites and because I bought the FQ bundle for her so I thought this would be a nice connection. Also. Kerry, this is my husband's favorite, so if you don't want it let me know and I'll give it to him instead. ;)
Once you receive these, it will be your turn to pass it on to 3 people. I can't wait to see what you come up with!
