I meant to blog about this, then forgot, then was reminded because of the Festival of Half Square Triangles!


 

 I originally designed this to be my Tangerine Tango quilt, but never got around to making it (I don't quite remember my excuse for being too busy). 


I made this miniature version for a swap with friends (it now lives with Christina).

The design is supposed to look like a flock of birds changing directions. I'll save you the long (and crazy) thought process.

  5. Fab Idea, and love the tangerine version, it reminds me of the wheeling flocks of swallows that I sometimes see when I drive down to my mum and dads
