This bag took me a few hours. I had a general idea of what I wanted, but made up measurements as I went.
The general shape and design is modified from the Noodlehead Envelope Clutch. I love this pattern! I knew I wanted a zipper, so just like last time I made the clutch, I added one using her Wide Open Pouch tutorial. I also convinced her to teach at Sewing Summit. I may be just a tab obsessed. ;)
I didn't have the slider bar to make the strap fulle adjustable, so I just added 3 snaps: 1 at the end and 2 in the middle (that I measured) to be should length or cross body length.
That have you been sewing? Any fun concerts coming up?

Another lovely bag! It looks lovely, with everything you could want in a little cross-body bag. Hope the gig was good!
ReplyDeleteLove the bag, and wish the weather was nice enough here to be dressing like that lol Thanks for persuading Anna to teach too, I'm looking forward to that class ;o)
ReplyDeleteLove your use of the flap and zipper! Have fun tonight, I really wanted to go but totally spaced that the festival was fast approaching. Glad MM has been resurrected!
ReplyDeleteLucky! I really wanted to see Foo Fighters, but I can't bring myself to go to Music Midtown to see them. They're my favorite. I am too tired (and too old!) to handle the crowd, the late nights, the crowd... : ) Have fun. Cute bag!!
ReplyDeleteLove. love. love. You rocked it!
ReplyDeleteLucky you--the Avett Brothers! I need to make a bag, too. I could decorate it with little machine embroidered motifs ...
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous...I want to see Florence so bad! Hope you had fun! Your bag is too cute!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteI'm so into customized bags! It's too "me", too personal. And mind you, as I can see from the pictures, the bag is too roomy and big that it doesn't look like a homemade one.
