November Stash Match

Well I fell off the face of the internet last month, but I'm back with a new installment of Stash Match! I went a different inspiration route this month and opted for a seasonal Fall palette. What fabrics would you use to make a Modern Maples quilt?

Just a reminder, here's how it works:
Each month I'll send out an inspiration photo and have 6 bloggers send me a picture of fabrics pulled from their stash based on that photo. Then I'll have you all try to match the blogger to their fabric stack. I'll compile everyone who got it correct and randomly select a winner from them! I know it was really hard last month, so not only will the bloggers give hints, but I will too!

This is not a contest to see which blogger has the best stash or who interpreted the theme most correctly by your standards or mine. They get the inspiration picture and can do with it what they want. You just have to match the fabric stack to the person. Let's keep it fun and positive!

The rules given to the bloggers:
1) Stack must have at least 10 fabrics, no more than 20
2) Each piece must be at least a Fat Eighth (no tiny scraps!)
3) No buying new fabric specifically for this

Modern Maples by Amanda has really taken off and I must admit that it's high on my priority. So it seemed like the right fit for November's inspiration!

Click on their photos to be taken to blogs. I hear there might be hints (in addition to those that I'm giving you below!). ;)

Well one of these is fianlly mine! It's too hard for me to give you a hint for me...
Amy's bundle is heavy on the warm reds, oranges, and yellows, but I love that she pulled in a few blues.
Caroline went the most traditional - warm colors and calico prints!
Colleen went with warm purples and yellows and pulled in some blue too.
Jennifer's pallette is mostly bright warm tones with hints of green. It makes me think of a tree mid-way through it's transition, rather than all the way fall.
Linday pulled in some purples that I think are perfectly warm and top off her warm bundle perfectly.

A Fat Eighth bundle of Honeycrisp from Westwood Acres. So perfectly fall I couldn't resist!

If you want to participate as a blogger one month, just send me an email and I'll get you scheduled!

To enter, fill out the form below by Wednesday, November 13, 2013 midnight EST. I will announce the winner and correct answers on Friday, November 15. Good luck!
